I was able to contribute a guest post on design*sponge all about my favorite spring flowers this afternoon. So if you love me (and please say you do), nothing in the whole wide world would make me happier than if you went to read it. Lots more photos, tips and general amy blather can be found on the post right here.

nice post to match serene, beautiful photographs. To me, tulips personify spring, and who can resist the siren song of that? I was lucky enough recently to have been gifted a bunch of dark pink ones and as they came to room temp, they filled the room with a heady honey scent. They were enchanting. Your post is too.
ReplyDeleteWho on earth couldn't love you Amy?! I read your guest post on tulips at design*sponge. Beautiful photos! I have taken a few floral design classes and I was always taught that daffodils do not mix well with other types of flowers in bouquets and arrangements because they emit a chemical that affects the other flowers. Is there a trick to mixing them with other species? Do you seal the stems or something?
ReplyDeletestunning photos!
