Day two

Good news! We made it here safely! (I am a bit of a nervous flier and wasn't too sure this would happen.) The even better news is that fall is still clinging in Paris and the cold hasn't snapped too hard at our heels.

I've finally figured out the internet at our little apartment in le marais and decided that I'm going to post a few photos as we go so that I won't be overwhelmed when I get home. Funner for all, yes?

It's day two of our trip and my first impressions of Paris are #1. The end of fall is stunning. #2. The coffee here is magical.

  17. I love to fly, but I've always been odd. Do they always name their coffee in Paris?

"Excuse me, I had a cup of Richard yesterday. May I have a cup of Joe today?"

  24. So how come you guys get to rent an appartment for your stay?! We "ordinary" Europeans don't seem to think further than hotels but an appartment for the duration would be awesome!!!
    How does this work?

Lovely to follow your adventures ;)

  27. Really? That's good to hear. I read The Sweet Life in Paris over the summer and David Lebovitz had a whole chapter on how gross the coffee in Paris was.

Enjoy your trip!! How amazing for you both. Thanks for keeping us updated!
