My favorite

I bought this dress on ebay for the price of a steak dinner and a bottle of wine. When I opened the package, I swayed in place. My cheeks flushed. When I tried it on, I went light-headed.

I am beyond taken with this dress. Far and away, my favorite of favorites.

  3. Oh, I would get married in that dress. Assuming of course it was mine and not yours and also disregarding the part where I'm already married.

  17. What do you wear with something that sheer? I assume you'd have to make a plain shift to go under it.

  28. I LOVE this dress! I found a similar one last year in a lonely little shop in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Cost me a $100 and I reckon it dates from 1910ish. Just curious, though-- what words did you type in on ebay to find it? And, did it fit? Mine does not:( but I bought it anyway, and love it all the same-- it hangs on the wall in my room and is absolutely stunning!
