I'm headed back home this afternoon to be with my mom. She was in a car accident last night, she's going to be okay, which is the important part, but she needs a little extra TLC right about now.

Broken bones, bumps and bruises. Pain meds. Puppy therapy. I am just so overwhelmed that I get to see her later today. She is, without a doubt, my best friend and I am so lucky to have her.

Your assignment for the day? Tell your favorite people how much you love them.
That's all, class dismissed.

Who takes them? My 14 year old daughter just told me she might be interested in photography. I am so excited because this is the first time she's mentioned a passion of hers.

Emerson, I came across your blog just a few moments ago. Your name claimed my attention as I have a nephew Emerson, (named after the famous Italian racing car driver Emerson Pittipaldi). However I digress....I found your blog very touching, and the thoughts about your Mother affected me greatly. I am nearly 3 times your age, and my daughter and I are very close too. She has just been diagnosed with cancer, but will win the battle I know,as she has the dearest daughter just one year old as well as another delightful rascal turning seven. I'll follow your blog with interest, and best wishes to your Mum

ReplyDeleteFluffy bricks.... I'm so sorry for the loss of your poodle. You must be heartbroken. A dog fills a place in our heart that even a best friend can't touch.
ReplyDeleteI bet there is a lonely little poodle just waiting to be adopted from a pound near you. When you are ready.
EEP! I'm off the computer for 2 weeks and I fall so far behind!
