  2. Those wildflower bridesmaids' posies are the prettiest wedding flowers I've ever seen. You were right when you wrote that we would not look at floral arrangements in the same way. Very inspirational.

  6. I too would love to be there, but it would take me 18 hours and 43 minutes from the midwest. It is 8:18 a.m. here and a cool lovely day. AND I slept late. All is well. Have a great opening day.

  7. If I had 43 hours, 31 minutes to spare, I would make the drive and purchase a bouquet of flowers to celebrate. Alas, I do not, so I can not, but I wish you a lovely and successful opening day from California! Prairie Girl, you are clever!

  12. and judging by the earlier pix, real flowers as opposed to the soulless chemically forced scent-free blooms so often seen in Australian flower shops...

  13. I love your well wishes from around the world. Brought to you from your fan club in Merryland.

Your blog makes our world cozy and connected. Real and sweet!

These simply beautiful flowers remind me of my hippy wedding with hand picked flowers, courtesy of my sisters.

Natural is good. I feel for people who think that big and fancy is the way to impress people.

    3 cheers for Saipua!
For the freedom from mass production!
