Oh, I love this picture!
ReplyDeleteawesome!!
ReplyDeleteWowsers trousers! You look amazing, as does the wedding. Ginny looked so beautiful in her astonishing dress and cape. Thanks for giving us a glimpse of such a wonderful occasion. PS I will send you a postcard soon!
ReplyDeleteWhich one is you?
ReplyDeleteI'm at a loss to describe how absolutely amazing I think the photographer is, the couple for having that theme, the clothes...and the bride looks so happy, she looks like a wonderful person :)
Wow.
I'm the kook on the left whose skirt is thiscolse to flying over her head!
ReplyDeleteI loved your dress, Amy! You looked darling!!!!
ReplyDeleteLoving it - awesome pic!
ReplyDeleteoh gosh chelsea, thanks. I made the dress, Scarlett O'hara style, out of a pair of old curtains and used a raggedy dress as a base!
ReplyDeleteBest Weekend Ever!!!

Oh my gosh, I think that is probably the coolest wedding I've ever seen. And you look adorable!
ReplyDeletewhat a gorgeous group of bright young things! thanks so much for posting these. you've made my night!
ReplyDeleteAmazing. This is the sort of thing that makes me feel like my life is painfully ordinary, but I'm grateful to the magic of the internet for showing me so much loveliness!
ReplyDeleteBTW, I think my brother is a little bit in love with you. (I'd sent him links to various entries a few times.) He's about to go to Morocco for a few weeks, but seriously? You guys should meet. He's about your age, the vintage-Filson hipster-lumberjack type, but with real timberframing skills and chainsaw certification to back up the beard!
On second thought, that came off as creepy. I'm sorry! It was meant well.
ReplyDeletekate f. that is one of the best comments i've ever seen! i second your suggestion!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing photo!! looks like one of those that photographers shoot underwater in a pool.... How did you jump that high??? the dresses are spectacular... and the groom.. well.. he's gotta be just an amazingly lucky guy
ReplyDeleteLeapin' Lizards!
ReplyDeleteWhat a priceless picture of pure JOY.
That was the wedding of the century.
Love the concept, the creative visionary timetravel. The photo's were fabulous, unique and inspired. The bride sooooooo BEAUTIFUL.
You both should be on the cover of a magazine for vitality, health and happiness.
That's for sharing this icon of happiness.
Ginny- Hee, thanks! And your wedding really looked out of this world. Our wedding was very 1930s Gold Coast, but we didn't go vintage and it would have been *truly* awesome if we had. We did have a completely fantastic vintage MG to drive away in, though.
ReplyDeleteKate, your wedding looks stellar! The car and your goddess grace kelly scarf make me want to sob!
ReplyDeleteAnd can we all just pause for a moment and appreciate the hilarity that a chainsaw certification could be a bonus in a unknown boys favor for girls like us?
I think it would trigger Jason nightmares for the more, ahem, faint of heart.
Hahaha! Doesn't chainsaw certification summon up a vision of efficient capability? He can build a cabin! Or clear a trail. He helped us install our kitchen a couple years ago; a boon since my husband, while extremely wonderful, is *terrible* at assembling things like cabinets. We let him paint while Tom and I did the manual labor.
ReplyDelete(Re. the car: Have you seen "Two for the Road," with Audrey Hepburn and Albert Finney? It's one of our favorite movies (and songs)... Worth renting, and you'll see why we had an MG.)
True be told, I could use a bit more efficient capability in several aspects of my life these days! And I am dying for new cabinets. Dying.
ReplyDeleteAnd MG's are amazing, as a baby I came home from the hospital in one! Two for the Road? So good.
Shocking. A lady like you showing her knees to that camera. Young people these days, what will be next?
ReplyDeleteCan’t wait to see those pretty knees next weekend!!!
THis is an amazing photo! I love it so much! I myself had a vintage inspired wedding and it was so fun. I love looking back at my own photos!
ReplyDeleteReally enjoy your pages here (great direct style, & images also!)
ReplyDeleteHave a new blog if you would like to consider checking it out(?)
