With love from...

Okay, okay. I know I said no more buying until I can take care of what I already own, but I slipped. I couldn't help it.

I want to be the kind of Amy who sits in wheelbarrows and wears pompom shoes! In 1903!

And her message on the back says "Thank you for the pretty postcard." Bought on etsy from the lovely Sherry.

  1. What a lovely way to start my day -- I was checking my blog list and the first one in the list was your post -- as soon as I saw "Amy" I smiled!!

I'm so glad she arrived with you and heavens, I think every Amy should sit in a wheelbarrow and wear shoes with pom poms!!!

    Enjoy your weekend!

  2. How cute! It reminds me of a postcard I once saw at a flea market of a man sitting on a stuffed donkey in a studio circa 1920.

I wonder why people don´t take pictures like this anymore..

  6. I just had to post a comment to tell you something fun.
I was writing in my own blog about spring flowers and such. I was looking for the perfect description for all of the growies hanging about and looking beautiful, and I thought of my favorite line from the secret garden. So, I googled "secret garden curtains and fountains." Your post from last May was the very first thing to come up! I was delighted by the beautiful pictures and sheer coincidence. Just wanted to share the serendipity of wisteria and lilacs.
