What a gorgeous image - she looks so happy and contented :)
I love pictures of my parents when they were approximately my age. There's the vintage effect for one. There's the passage of time for second. And there is the role reversal effect. All wonderful. BB

I've said it before, but I really love the family element of your blog.
OHHHH Sweet Ameselle...It is i who have been fortunate to have you come through me. You have taught me more about creativity, decorating, dressing, persistance and self assurance than I have ever taught you. I admire you as much as I love you.
happy birthday to your mom! i found your blog through bliss yesterday and really enjoyed browsing through. i grew up near your summer house in NH. my parents live in Francestown, a few towns away, and my family and i spend lots of time there still. it's fun to read about that area of NH on someone else's blog!
Francestown in so close! I love love love our section on New Hampshire, I wish I got to spend more time there. You've probably been to The Red Chair antique store in Peterborough. One of my all time favorite stores!
